A Louvered Roof Designed For Your House
We Know How to Handle Complicated Needs
Designed For Your Custom Requests
-
Dream it.
It all begins with an idea. The LouveRoof ® Luxury Pergolas are designed to be an easy, adjustable addition to your house. Traditionally they’re chosen for three reasons.
They provide permanent cover without darkening the room adjacent. When fully open, they still let 80% of the light through.
The maintenance free - hassle free nature of the product. Whether it’s complicated roof lines or a desire to avoid painting and staining every year, the LouveRoof ® Luxury Pergola can fit your house without adding yet another thing to take care of.
The aesthetics. For the tech savvy home owner or the modern home, the LouveRoof ® Luxury Pergola seamlessly fits with your Smart Home setup.
-
Design it.
It starts with a call. Contact us or your local Certified LouveRoof ® Luxury Pergola Dealer for a consultation to design your space. Each LouveRoof ® is designed custom for your house. As opposed to many other Louvered Roofs, the LouveRoof ® can fit every unique imperfection of your house.
Have a West facing Sun? Add a solar mesh shade that can lower when you want to keep your space shaded in the late evening
Want a Screen Porch without all the work? Get a LouveRoof ® and add either fixed screens or drop screens on all sides.
-
Build It.
From nothing to fully constructed, LouveRoof ® Luxury Pergolas are made to fit into your space and to give you the look you are after. With their flat ceiling closed bottom, internal gutter system, and ability to add to them over time, your space will be ready for the next fifty years.
Want to avoid doing all the expensive concrete work and the days upon days of construction of a wood roof? LouveRoof ® Luxury Pergolas go up quickly and require little in the way of new foundation work. Typically a footer is required for each post, but based on size, you might attach to your existing slab or deck. Anywhere between two to five days typically on site and you’ll be left with a remote control and a whole new space to enjoy.
What Is My Paint Finish?
The Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA), which was previously known as AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) sets the standards for coating performance on architectural applications. On forming the FGIA, they kept the specifications named AAMA. The FGIA has 3 different level of ‘AAMA Voluntary Specification Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Pigmented Organic Coatings on Aluminum Extrusions and Panels’. These are AAMA 2605, AAMA 2604 and AAMA 2603 and each requires a different level of coating testing and performance.
AAMA 2605 requires that coated panels are tested in Florida for 10 years. At the end of the testing, the color must not change more than 5 Delta E units. Chalking must not be more than a number 8 rating based on the ASTM 4214 test and there should be a minimum of 50% gloss retention.
AAMA tests include:
Dry film hardness
Adhesion
Impact resistance
Abrasion resistance
Chemical resistance
Corrosion resistance
Humidity resistance
Weathering resistance
Very Good Mechanical Strength
High Heat Deflection Temperature
High Stiffness
High Tensile Strength
Excellent Wear Properties
High Fatigue Strength
Resistant to Solvents
High Creep Resistance
Why Glass Filled Polymer End Caps
Traditional End Caps or Pivot Points are Stainless Steel, which when rotated in aluminum tracks can wear out the track, causing the potential for the motion to seize over time.
Noise Reduction - Polymer End Caps have the added advantage of being self lubricating, so you don't have to hear the whine and groan of other louvered systems as they rotate.
Glass Filled Polymers work similar in their construction to fiberglass or carbon fiber, where fibers are introduced to increase tensile strength and keep the already existing properties.
